About

Meet Coach Shannon!

I have always been interested in health and wellness and even had aspirations as a child to become a physician. While I changed my career path to pursue a different interest in the field of education, I never let go of my fascination of how our lifestyle impacts our health and decided to pursue health coaching. I am a Master Certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. In addition, I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. I received my bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and educational specialist’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

As a health coach, I am dedicated to helping adults find an effective healthy lifestyle that compliments their busy lives. Many times people think they are too busy to eat healthy or exercise, but this does not have to be the case! I appreciate that everyone is different and I love the creativity involved in helping clients discover a plan that is sustainable for the long term.

I strive to keep balance in my own life by scheduling time to take walks, stretch or do yoga, read, paint, travel, and spend time with friends and family. I enjoy tweaking recipes to make them healthier while maintaining great flavor. It is amazing how many things you can hide spinach in without even tasting it!

I look forward to meeting you soon!
